2016 Senior Thesis Prize winners

The 2016 Senior Thesis Prize winners were announced on Thursday, April 14.The John Roos Award for the best senior thesis in the field of American Politics goes to Adam Henderson for his thesis, "Playing the Catholic Card: Catholic Candidate and Religious Cues." Adam's thesis was advised by David Campbell.

National Science Foundation Award Winners

Graduate student Juan Valdez was awarded a Graduate Research Fellowship by the National Science Foundation. Additionally, Mark Brockway received an honorable mention. 

ND Votes '16

The Rooney Center is partnering with Notre Dame's Center for Social Concerns to sponsor NDVotes '16, a non-partisan campaign to promote voter education, registration, and mobilization in the period leading up to the 2016 presidential election. Beginning in the Fall of 2015, the aim of NDVotes '16 is to foster conscientious and informed engagement in political and civic life among students.  More information can be found here!

The next NDVotes event will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19 at the Geddes Hall Coffee House

Join us for a conversation on Foreign Policy with Prof. MaryEllen O'Connell and Prof Michael Desch. There will an opportunity to register to vote at each of these events and request an absentee ballot. Additionally students may find voter registration information through their dorm liaisons and at tables in LaFortune hosted on regularly on Sunday evenings by Student Government and members of the NDVotes Task Force.
