Wayde Marsh is a Ph.D. candidate in American politics, political theory, and methodology at the University of Notre Dame. His research in American politics focuses on political parties, public opinion, elections and voting behavior, race and ethnicity politics, and religion and politics. Rooted in the concern over growing partisan polarization and the increasing role of trauma in American politics, Wayde’s research seeks to better explain how American political parties adapt to changing societal and environmental conditions.
