Graduate Student Research Award (GSRA) | Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts (ISLA)
This grant covers up to $4,000 of costs related to research that a students’ home department is unable to meet. Usual expenses include research materials, undergraduate RAs, transcription and translation services, remote library assistance, survey and computer programming support, and data set/human subject payments.
Deadline: March 11, 2022
Conference Presentation Grant (CPG) | Graduate Student Government (GSG)
This grant of $250 on average reimburses graduate students for expenses incurred on travel to conferences and meetings to present original research.
Deadline: 1-3 months prior to the conference (on the 1st of the month)
Graduate School Professional Development Award (GSPDA) | The Graduate School
This grant covers up to $4,000 of expenses related to conference presentations, workshop or seminar participation, research at other institutions, and other training activities supporting scholarly and professional development.
Deadline: Any time before event. Applications are reviewed on the 1st of each month (except January, June, and July – reviewed the following cycles).

The Connected World Grant | Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts (ISLA)
This grant of up to $5,000 funds research projects that seek to evaluate the impact and ethics of the interconnectedness of social, cultural, political, and economic life around the globe.
Deadline: Rolling, beginning August 1, 2022
